Homemade muesli

I always used to think that food photography must be the most boring form of photography. (you’re taking photos of food!). That’s why I was quite surprised to find it so much fun when I had a go at it myself! This bowl of muesli was not just photographed by me, I also made the muesli ;).

You will need:

3 cups of oats

1 cup of nuts/seeds of your choice (e.g. sunflower/lins/sesame seeds, cashew/hazel nuts)

½ cup raisins

100 gram sun dried fruit

¼ cup olive oil

¼ cup natural honey

¼ cup brown sugar

Mix together oats and seeds/nuts in large bowl. Mix olive oil, honey and sugar in a pot, heat up while stirring till everything is dissolved. Pour mixture over oats and stir well. Pour all in to a pan and roast in oven till golden brown, about 15 min, stirring every few minutes. Leave to cool, and then mix in sun dried fruit and raisins.

That’s it! Now you’ve got your very own muesli to enjoy with your breakfast.
