Home grown burger

There’s something special when you can look at your plate of food and pretty much know that all you see is either grown/raised on your own farm or on a farm near by. Last weekend I made burgers using beef that was minced at our own butchery and the steer had been grazing the lands somewhere around Kabwe. The bread rolls baked at our bakery in town, the lettuce and tomato grown on the farm and the potatoes for the chips bought from a potato farmer in the area. Only the spices imported, nothing unnatural added, just plane good home food!
